Shopping Channels
One of firstSTREET’s
most promising and fastest growing channels of distribution
for our products is the shopping channel market. We share a
common ground with these companies as we both are highly
specialized in marketing new and unique products. Their
appetite for these type of items is insatiable and provides
an open door for our expertise and items we bring. In
addition, we share similar demographics as they tend toward
the same older demographic that prefers buying in this
direct method.
We also have on staff an industry veteran in this channel,
which brings tremendous expertise and contacts to this
initiative. We currently work with the major players in this
business and have developed numerous
relationships with several buyers and their targeted shows
so that we can target the appropriate consumer and gain
timely access to their airings.
We have found that this channel, as similar as it may be,
has little overlap with our other channels of business and
provides our products with incremental sales and a very
distinct and strategic marketing exposure. This exposure
helps build the item’s longevity as it plays a critical role
in the early life cycle of the product. We also continue to
work on other formats and new TV shopping initiatives that
will increase our range of opportunities within this
channel.
